I personally can't believe a BMW owner would find painted calipers or covers acceptable. It's about as bad as throwing an ///M badge on your non-///M ride. Or throwing a body kit on your stock Honda...

The parts are made in Germany, but the car is "assembled" in the USA. That, combined with the free trade zone, is probably why they can get away with "Made in Germany", as my Z4M denotes.
