That connector with the two nodes is for your glove box flash light. It is what charges the flash light. It goes on the side of the glove box, with the rectangular opening.

Unless you're going Racecar mode, keep the O2 in there. You can find chips from Conforti, TRM, and some others on this site that I can't remember off hand.

You want to be careful of softer lifters namely because you will risk valve float or poor combustion due to lack of air or enough fuel. It's why people usually go solid lifters for racing motors.

M42/44 M50/52 S50/52 all had the same INA lifters and sizes. INA is the company that makes the lifters for Porsche, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Holden, Volkswagen, etc.

And VAC Motorsports has some of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. True they have the rare stuff, but I'd rather wait a month before I get parts than buy through them again. Ugh......
