IMHO - The only reason to use gasoline of a lower octane than that recommended by BMW is if the proper gasoline is not available. Even though the car will be drivable (but may perform differently)...

The recommended inflation pressures (F-R) would be different depending on vehicle weight, OEM wheel / tire size, weight distribution, and several other other factors. Not all BMWs are created equal...
