I had this issue, after changing the ICV and Crank sensor it turned out to be the Cam sensor. Changed it and it drove like new, perfect idle and was more responsive.

Nope, way before isofix time. As far as I'm aware the isofix brackets are fitted at the factory. The only other option is to get a seat that bolts on to the seatbelt fixings.
