New one? Key fob unlocks but doesn't lock.

Here's the sequence of events.

I have two keys, one I use all the time (1), the other (2) almost never.

The other night, very cold out, (1) wouldn't lock. I locked manually.

Later it worked...

Thanks, but your reply is confusing to me; seems internally inconsistent. If the blower doesn't work, and it didn't chirp before quitting, it would likely not be the blower, no?

NAPA, $92, special order.
Autozone, $77, special order.
Some guy on eBay, new, $39. That's what I bought.

Cabin blower fan stopped working

I searched, but couldn't find anything that helped.

Magic eye on the battery was black, even after a 45 minute drive, and a couple of hours on a low current batter charger/maintainer. Will install a new battery this morning (Maxx H8) and see....

While I've rented U-Hauls many times, and they are indeed convenient and rugged, they are also kind of stone-age in their design-center.
