A black roof will probably absorb more heat though, leading to a less pleasant interior temp on a hot day.

Everywhere I've been in Europe, the badges were still on 99.999% of all cars. Yes it's an option, but I don't think it's a good idea. It's just deceptive, IMHO.

Keep the top up. Don't lower it for anything until it straightens out. When it lowers, the middle where it folds gets worn anyway.
