Happy to report the same results...not a single problem for the last 50K miles. Engine temp is always in 90-95 range even when cruising at high speed. I have it on my F02 as well. Both E66 and F02...

If the belt is brand new....it could be the alignment. Sometimes brand new belt doesn't mean that...

In all honesty, the bill looks about right for the jobs that were done. The difference was the leak on upper timing cover gasket. From your post, it seemed that shop neglected to tell you about this....

It's very strange indeed. When the soft close is not working, it's very likely that your battery needs to be replaced. Check the battery voltage to be sure.
