Crankcase vent tubes

I know that these tubes have been updated and I have read the TSB pertaining to them. Has anyone replaced the y-shaped tube with the new ones? I just want to have some clarification on the new tubes...

Depending on whether or not you have the liquid-cooled alternator will determine the severity of the task. If you have a regular alternator on there then its fairly easy from a mechanics perspective...

You should be able to remove it by relieving...

You should be able to remove it by relieving tension on the belt and unbolting the lower pulley. To make it easier, have someone hold the breaker bar while unbolting the lower pulley.

Could possibly be a clogged drain in the sunroof. Won't hurt to check...make sure it is clear of debri.

If its a metal clip (retainer) to hold it in place that shouldn't be the reason for the code. I would back track and make sure all your wires are connected to their proper place free of kinks...also...

He is converting his car which is a non-sport model into a sport model. There are certain differences on the car that make a bit distinctive from a regular model 7series.

With all of your misfires, there's a possibility that there's no fuel being delivered. Thus, maybe a faulty fuel pump. I had this issue a few years back. It underneath the back seat. I would test it...
