Your BMW typically uses red ATF for the power steering fluid. Most likely you have a power steering system leak. None of your pictures were of the transmission pan.

You need to replace the hose that goes from the bottom of the reservoir. That is likely the source of the leak. Some people just remove the existing hose, cut off about 1/4" of hose and reinstall...
