I have no fear of the engine at that mileage. It's the DPF, EGR, and emissions stuff that may start needing attention. Anyway, I guess you could delete the DPF, as some of the 3 series diesel guys...

The car is certainly repairable for about what the previous poster stated. What ever you do, don't sell it for peanuts to a salvage place....
