You are right. When you reset the service interval lights, the amber and red go out and all the greens are lit. They go OUT one by one as the mileage rolls up.

I'm not sure when the other reds began being used, but Brilliant Red was the red used on most of the E30s I've seen. It's single stage. That may be clue....
