Please be on the lookout for a transmission

I need a 5hp30 transmission for my 540i, second gear is slipping, only throws me in trans program once every 2 months.

found this hose next to my transmission..

I just found this hose next to my transmission on a 1995 540i
in between my left (driver) exhaust and the transmission pan..

Are you sure your oil was actually changed? I would suggest another change.

I had the exact noise, lifter was ticking. Changed oil again and gone.

I'm glad the filter rid you of that pesky...
