Before I get the " do a search" I read all 16 pages of coding threads and couldn't find the code I'm looking for. I've read quite a few times that members had their cars coded to shut the car down...

2013 528i.. hand gun lockable storage

Same here, I have a Sig 226 Equinox and it's to big for that compartment. I'm thinking of getting a 229, it looks like it would fit perfectly.

I frequent both forums as well. I like how B.P. dived the modification, suspenssion and regular threads. I also like the owners marketplace, but I spend most of my time on Bimmerfest.

I've read of M3 owners gutting their OEM exhaust to get a louder tone and it seem to work for them. If I wasn't as busy as I am I would try something like this.

You're right, this method only works for the 535's, M5's and not sure if for the 528's.

You can actually change the tips. If you grab it real tight and do a 1/4 turn twist the tip will un-hook and you just have to pull it out. They're only secured by 3 pressure clips. I know this...

I still can't understand how they were able to crack the 550i DME but they're not even close (according to what they told me on the phone) to crack the 535i DME. It can't be THAT different.
