You can use the line from a 2000 2.8, they have no restriction. In fact, I believe the 98 to 00 2.8's only do not have a cdv. Fastest shift in the west:eek:

Smile Reverse Polarity

The only way is to match colors. Red is hot(+), Black is ground(-). There are even places that explain the procedure for "jumping". The Black can go any where on your engine, not just the ground pole...
