I used one with my oil pan gasket job. It was less than $50 from Harbor Freight....

I had that same P0128 code and a new thermostat...

I had that same P0128 code and a new thermostat fixed the problem.

Before beign fixed, it would take a good 10 mile drive before my temp gauge went to the middle, now it only takes 1-2 miles....

Does your e38 seat have the little metal clip towards the rear of the inboard track like the e39 seats do? That metal clip restricts the seat going all the way back if it's still in place.
