I probably would dump the active hybrids and the 320i, sell the 328d as a 320d and price it under the 328i, and then squeeze a 330d between the 335i and 328i.

Not in our case. I suspect it's deposits either internal or at the nozzle. Bio is so prevalent these days I just don't see lubricity being an issue today. That's not to say there won't be instances...

The 4 is a GT for sure. It seats 4 clearly as the Cayman does not. Apple's to Oranges IMO but I'm sure people would cross shop. 428 vs 328d would be even closer perhaps.
