Have the crankshaft position sensor checked.

Also, have your mechanic check the electrical connector to the transmission. If it's soaked in oil, pins in that socket can get shorted.

If you can go to some other mechanic, try some other mechanic.

You can read those error messages/log with INPA...

If you insist on going the valve route, get a new o-ring for that valve...
