this sounds like the switch and the hood are not...

this sounds like the switch and the hood are not aligned....take it back to the shop that installed the hood and get the switch and hood to be in the correct relationship..good luck..:thumbup:

I would recommend looking at 2003.5 and newer...not that older models are bad, but the 2003.5 model year made some improvements [LED tails for one] and also the rod bearing issue has been covered....
