Maybe for you. I have gone from the N52 to the N20 and am quite happy. The I4 is not as smooth or as sonically pleasing as the I but it's a great engine, flexible, powerful and economical.

Depends on the outside temperature and intensity of the sun. For example if it's 80 and cloudless, I set the temp at about 71. I almost always keep the fan at 3.

My car at 33,000 miles has not needed an alignment. Nor did my 2 previous E90's, both with over 30,000 miles at lease end. I'm not convinced that RFT's are more sensitive to alignment than go flats.
