Arizona? Interesting. Not a state with a particularly high household income so just goes to show how affordable these cars have become, especially with the lease deals.

I find the whole M-sport concept cringeworthy. The M-sport package is really what the Sport line should be.

what he says isn't really wrong to be fair, the 3er is an entry level luxury sedan.

335i will be a money pit. I'd go for the M3, the E46 is a timeless classic.

I think those stats are misleading. There is a huge middle class in this country who clearly can afford 3s and RL shirts. There is also a huge underclass who can afford squat, hence the low average....

I'm curious as to why the turbo engines would be underrated, I've heard this about both the N20 and N55. Wouldn't it be in BMWs best interest to market the actual hp figures? Is it particularly hard...

The N20 is little quicker but not night and day, and still feels a lot slower than the 335 to me. I certainly wouldn't call it fast by any means.

It's all relative. Earn $200k per year and you're probably renting a studio in Manhattan. For many people the 3 is simply a beater.

E92 and E46 are still stunning today. Simple, elegant design is the key to longevity. I think the current crop of 3s are a little too over styled to age as well.

It's premium not luxury. An S class is luxury, a F30 is not. Put it this way, I don't see many chauffeur driven 3 series.

I'm with you on this. If you want a fast car, buy one upfront. My other issue with tuning is that many people are tuning leased cars which is basically screwing over whichever poor soul buys the car...

If they could get the weight down these might be interesting. Pretty quick and the 10k redline sounds fun.

If you don't need two doors, you won't regret the Cayman S. Perfect complement to a 3 series daily driver IMO.

Both the 3 and C class are considered entry level and aren't going to impress anyone, so just chose the one you like.

Looks nice. Purely in terms of external looks and interior quality, I think MB has the 3 series beat.

You know what, you're 100% correct. The perception of 3s being sporty far exceeds the reality. Much as we might like to think otherwise, these cars aren't that different to MB's and Lexus's and...

Both are daily drivers, not what I would call a special or fun car. For 68k I'd look for something else. The Cayman is much more fun for the price.

Drive it again in the snow or heavy rain and you might have a different opinion.

Horses for courses.

Babying a RWD at 30 mph on a wet road is pretty uninspiring too.

There's a world of difference between a 335 and a M3/650, it's only 5K more than the 328!
