Well good news for me! I sent that warranty info. to the dealership, and they called me back and said the cost would be covered by BMW, so I'm feeling much better today.

I certainly cannot DIY myself... so I sent the warranty on the wastegates to the dealer and told him if that was the issue, would it be covered even though I'm like 3K miles over......
