I prefer to use my brakes. It's much cheaper to replace brake pads than a tranny. It may not affect the tranny that much but I'd rather not take a risk.

I didn't know Arco sold diesel. Very cheap indeed. I like to use a credit card but my card has a 5% rebate so paying $3.15 is about the same. However, in the Bay Area, I've seen it as low as $3.49...

I don't know why people run regular when the manufacturer recommends premium. Maybe they are being cheap but at what cost. I would never run regular in our Audi, BMW, or MB. They just don't run well....
