About 3 weeks ago I replace my Crankcase Vent valves due to Check engine light and Increased emissions warmer. Also this is what my code reader gave me was the problem.

I did my front last summer with these and still working perfect. I always make sure I buy the ones with metal backing. In fact I just bought one for my right rear to do today.

crankcase vent valves

I got some new valves installed yesterday, but the new ones I bought didn't have the vent tube to attach the vent lines. I used the old caps and broke off one tab. Seems to hold tight still.

It will never reset unless you replace the sensor, trust me I know. Mine did the same thing, but went to -9000. New sensor and bamm. Worked like a charm.

If you do a google search you would have seen that the dealer is the only option. I've seen people post anywhere from 150 to 225 for replacement keys. Sorry, but your going to have to bit bullet...

So I got a check engine light and the increased emissions the other day. What worries me is twice a noticed when I pull out a puff of blue smoke coming out exhaust, very little but enough to notice....

Which wheels are you running. I have the same car with 16" and looking to get the 17" style 73 Think they are called radial spokes.

Maybe we can work something out if you get 16's.

Wow, you guys must drive your cars hard. I've had my 545i for almost 2 years and always average around 23-24 city. Around 33 when I take a highway trip. I've been very please with the big V8 MPG.

We got slammed here in PA with ice and snow last night. Had to make it to work this morning so off I went in my trusty 325xi. Had no problems with going up hills.

Have a few steep hills to get out...
