It could be fuel related but check the underside of the rubber intake boot for rips first. It could possibly be a vacuum leak.

The cost of going to a BMW dealer is prohibitive. See if you can find an Indy shop. Plus I bet the overwhelming majority of BMW dealers no longer see too many E36's anymore. I'm sure hnaz can hook...

Yeah, I'm sorry. There are just so many threads about trying to make this car fast and that's just not what these cars are built for. So you spend $5,000 minimum on a turbo set up and can now do 0-60...

Try pulling the pedal up with the car off then see where its stuck. Maybe some penetrating fluid to loosen things up.

I agree with M-Tech. No come along. Just keep at it with a pry bar and lift up the back of tranny a little when pulling. I think it may be hanging down a little and binding up.

It will come out. Try wiggling it side to side while pulling. Its not seized, just stuck. Keep at it. You can try jacking the tranny up slightly from the back and then pull.
