Yes it is very goofy looking, attracts even more attention than the Z4 :D. It is supremely comfortable, so much so my regular hybrid bike has been collecting dust. Handles trails like a champ!

I'd be nervous about debris that I've loosened by air blowing up through the drains. There is no guarantee you'll get everything out of the top area since you can't really get into it.

I had a 428i loaner for a couple of weeks earlier this year. The Potenza S001 225/45R18 RFT's it had were not terrible. I'm not sure if it was the tires or the suspension setup that made them livable.
