Soap, lots of it. Sledge hammer, I used a 2.5lb one. I used sandpaper to smooth the end before putting the bush back on. Put some muscle into it.

At least I didn't open up the valve cover to be disappointed. Going to buy some super long needle nose pliers at HF tomorrow, bend a wire hanger out of shape, swim in some wd40 and wriggle that thing...

Well bad has turned to worse. The boot now smashed further down and starting to break apart. My heavy handed technique has broken an ignition coil. Looks like the valve cover may be coming off this...

Dc beat me to it...

Just took it for a lap instead of just sitting idle...I'm definitely on 5 cylinders...it's ok steady state but if I gas it, it stumbles


Can I just disconnect that coil...

For anyone that may run into the same issue, simply replacing the coil even though the boot...

If that is your alignment sheet for the offending car smack whoever did it and get the toe straightened out, that is what is eating your tires...they're essentially dragging and that's why the inside...
