Yep apparently its the torque converter, im told it could of or maybe not also have damaged the transmission, big buck bad news. :(

Anyone have prices for these types of things?

X3 3.0 Diesel Engine Noise

I'm getting a bad noise first it was at idle but now it is even prevalent at slow speed, I'm not sure if my video is any good, I accelerated a couple of times and the noise stops then immediately...

Just buy the transfer case fluid from BMW, IMHO BMW simply didnt put enough of this fluid in the transfer case to begin with at .6 litre and it will safely take around .9 of a litre.
