Bilstein shocks with H&R Sport/Race springs are a well known setup, especially for the good old E30s. Plus, like Jason said also, Turner MS list the Sport shocks as shocks for lowered springs.

How about your battery? I don't know if the crankshaft sensor can get dirty, but if it has problem sensing crank movement it won't fire up the engine.

My next alignment will be with M5 specs, which means more tirewear but better grip.

As for wear, keep a close eye on tire pressures. Critical for performance and wear.

Did all of them in 10 minutes today (I have the steering knuckles and all off the car). They come off with a bang!, but it's so easy. The tool is great (I hate bad and inadequate tools).
