The wheels aren't the issue. Its the tires IMO. I've had plenty of e34's with 18" wheels with no problems, but one must choose a decent tire size.

I think then you should look into koni shocks if they are available for our models and st springs. The have a 2.2" drop in the front and 1.8"? drop in the rear.

Honestly, I think your car will be too busy with all that. Roof spoiler and such I feel is too much, but I like clean cars. For coilovers, gc has them or just check Ebay.

My little update. The noise in the front end was the right lower control arm bushing which was repaired, the power steering was the low pressure house which was replaced and the valve cover gaskets...
