Best is to use BMW regulator and motor, the price is not too bad in the USA.

Also search the web for proper hose routing, especially for your year/model.
The fuel filter in your car has the pressure regulator attached to it as a combo.

That trick worked great for me. The REAR subframe bushings area are great for lifting the car.

For the Front, I always use 2 jackstands: one with 4 legs, and one being the screw-type jackstand....
