Not entirely true. E9Xs LCIs built before 03/09 still have all of that. My '09 E93 (01/09 build) is an LCI and it has all of them (well, except the moonroof crank since, you know).

For me it's because I have the sport package and wanted to run narrower and non-staggered for my winter setup. Plus I like the OEM 18" rims better so I keep them on there as long as possible.

It shouldn't do this and needs to be adjusted. The anti-pinch mechanism is detecting the window hitting the top too hard and going back down. Dealer should be able to reset it.
