I couldn't figure out which fuse was the fuse for the windows, so we checked continuity on all of them, and they all seemed to check out. Anything else?

like the problem with the nut isn't the toque. It will just spin with the damper, thats why you need impact, not for the torque

DIY is not hard. you might need to use an impact wrench to get the top nut off the strut mount though. If you have one it shouldn't be hard. you could get a pair of Sachs for that price man! just...
