Cab top latch lubrication

Is there a protocol for lubrication of the locking mechanisms/front lock rail for the 2006 650 Cab? I am starting to get some strange sounds that seem to coming from that area of the convertible top...

That is what happened to me, so yes buy a new expansion tank before it goes, and then you have to go to the dealership and its costs way more.

Cool Automatic lights

This past week I had the 650 in the shop for valve and timing cover gaskets, plug, and brake fluid flush.

Upper cam gasket cover replacement

Is it necessary to remove the valve covers to change the upper timing/cam cover gaskets?

My indie is saying if so gonna be $1500-$1800 for the job.
