There's a bolt in the firewall where the cables to the starter and alternator pass through. Check that too. You might not be getting good connection from the alternator to the battery for charging.

Fuel pressure is indicated here - lean codes, happened after running low on fuel, car is more than 10 years old. you can borrow a fuel pressure gauge from autozone and test pressure at the injector...

In the carribean perhaps not. the t-stat will close when cold (<200 F coolant) to heat up the engine faster, then opens/closes to regulate engine temp. Probably once you get to op temp it stays hot...
