Easiest approved oil to find is typically Mobil 0W40 full synthetic - walmart even has it. No worries mixing as long as you are using a BMW approved synthetic.

Chargepipe breaks all the time at the coupler exactly where yours did - a little oil is normal as a bit makes it into the intake (at your mileage, people can get a cup or 2 out of their intercooler)....

The dealer is a bit right, the actual extended warranty is specific, it isn't just fix the turbos if they are broken, it is very specific to worn and noisy wastegate actuators only and not anything...

Yes that stupid little plastic cup only comes with the entire armrest leather piece and is like $150 - if it was jus the plastic part for 20 bucks I would buy it in a second.

This is incorrect, if you use the BMS harness kit, no coding needed. Just plug it in and it will work.

You will of course need to get a steering wheel with the paddle shifter cutouts and paddles...

The newer BMW pads make much less dust. Almost nothing has better feel than the oem pads, my new x3 has almost no dust and the 335 pad part number changed in 2012, maybe someone with a 2012 or 13...
