Sounds like the coolant transfer pipe. Its all fine when the engine is at operating temp but as the engine cools and the metal (contracts) shrinks back down it lets the worn vulcanized seal to leak...

I would not recomend using a clothes iron, the headliner is adhered to a foam pad that can be smashed/deformed. Then it will probably end up worse than where you are now.

I use a cheap cable that also happens to be blue. I bought It for coding/diagnostic with INPA off ebay, and a dongle (usb to micro usb) off amazon to to affix it to my phone/tablet.

Mine has a vent hole in the cap that I stuck half...

Mine has a vent hole in the cap that I stuck half a q-tip in to help absorb some of the fluid. Seems to help.
