The Z4M is rumored to share its transmission with the other 6-speed Z4 variants. If that's the case, it could broaden your search.

The transmission will make no difference in the sound. The only thing to be concerned about is your ultimate goal for the car. If you want to do the muffler and be done, Magnaflow is a good choice....

For the VF Z4, I would be in the AR class if the supercharger doesn't assume fueling/tuning/intake modification.

My first dyno was 285 whp (~348 bhp with an 18% loss) on a Dynojet. The tune was...

I would go with the premium over the sport package. There are much better wheel/tire and spring/shock options in the aftermarket. Any Z4 with 50k miles is probably nearing the end of its original...

^ correct. The sport package included 18" wheels with 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear tires. The car should have ellipsoid wheels and a sport button on the console. Very clean though!

A new Valeo is $630, plus several hours labor to install. I paid $1400 for just the alternator to be changed, but then again it was a bit more labor with my car.

See post #3. Those offsets will sit flush or very close to it. The higher the number, the more sunk in they will look. 9.5ET35 sits flush as a rear wheel on a non-M. 9.5ET45 will be in 10 mm, or 1 cm.

These are not the right tire sizes for the wheels they are mounted on. They're too narrow so they will look stretched. You need 225/35/19 and 255/30/19 to stay with OEM diameters on 19" wheels.

Also know that as the wheel width changes, the offset changes too. Tire Rack has a good article on this.

8.5ET38 front and 9.5ET35 rear work well with a non-M Z4.

There won't be any change in power with a new MAF sensor. You can try disconnecting the battery, but it won't do anything except reset your throttle adaptations and make the car "feel" faster.

I went with 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 on the non-M so that I could swap wheels with my M. The combo is in between the non-M and M OEM sizes, but wider. The car looks much better.
