Maybe I did not read your last post correctly. If it is not dying then it is FSU as you state it is out. What is voltage when car is running without lights or any other draw?

yes it should stay on if belt is not clipped

as simpler way would be pull fuse 13 in the glove

box out, but the seat switch and wheel positioning would no longer work

by personal property tax is `$160

on top of $80 registration fee and about 40 cents per gallon tax on gas. Car is 14 years old!
they even tax my 1986 Honda motor scooter $8.45 !!

I knew it but on whole still ahead

My vanos unit was replaced years after warranty expired . For parts and labor I paid only $50! As I stated on whole I still have done ok.I will in future get Indy rates work other than oil changes....

After dealer charged $600 to replace two sensors

And it failed to clear disc light dealer provide new disc unit for free. I checked my record .the dealer I bought the car from, on October 07 replaced both belts two pulleys and defection rollers...

$910 was cost including pads sensors & rotors

front & back, I do not think that is rip off, for all four wheels. The belt change was the rip off but balanced against some of the freebies from dealer I can live with it. And I can't do my own...

but not even close to to what the car is worth to me with only 82K on the clock and a stick. And At 70 and w/out tools I just will pay and have someone else do it. As stated before my cost for this...
