for me, 30 MPG long flat highway, carries 5 and the dog, it's a BMW.

New, they are black. Worn out they look brownish.

The upper heater hose pipe is probably rotted off. Mine broke off while
trying to remove it. The pipe stub needed to be wrestled out.
USE CAUTION not to scratch the aluminum bore!

I love seafoam!!
I have used it in every car I have owned for decades.
Used it in the oil ( then change oil) fuel tank also.
Cleaners well, and I have never had a problem afterward.

I replaced all coil packs on my 528i. It looks like a few coil packs were changed before my ownership.
I decided to go with the factory Bosch coils and replaced the stems also.
My old coils worked...

Just commenting I have had good luck and clean engines
while using the seafoam.
I have used it on a lot of different engines .

I use it in the oil and drive it for a good hour before changing
oil and filter.
I add the correct amount then do a highway drive for 60 miles or so....

I have the wagon also.
I get just a bit better mileage.
Use premium fuel and it's 600 feet elevation and flat.
I like to think the wagon is more aerodynamic.
At least, I think so :)

I bought a non an aftermarket tank. For what ever reason, I COULD NOT keep the level full.
I could not find any leak, yet the level was always low.

Sprung for a dealer tank and now my coolant...
