Do not see an advantage of spending more than that rebuilding one. Unless contaminated they last for ever so little is gained...

You do the seals if there bad. Check at least if not replace the basics. Plugs/vcg's, ect.

Lighter crank is obviously better, less rotating mass to over come same theory as a light weight fly wheel.
Although this wont make more power it allows the engine to rev more quickly at the trade...

I had this on my e38 m60, only happened at one particular light.
For what ever reason at that light the motor torqued and spread the crack in the brake booster hose...

You need to know how to do a valve adjustment. I'm certainly not the best...

Just remove the cover, replace and adjust i believe.


Just my opinion. Unless you drove into the dirt with a bad rocker till something worse...
