Go in to the CAPPL module & just enable the DRL menu item. That way you can turn on/off the deals via iDrive any time you wish. Better than coding them out.

I think you can also just pop the cover off without undoing the bolts too. The bolts hold the cover to a little frame which in turn is held on to the top of the rocker cover with little rubber rings...
