BMW Coding Tool Error: MSCOMCTL.OCX

While going down the list installing the Coding SW, I get to the last step which is to update the Daten Fie w/the BMW Coding Tool but get the "Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of it's dependencies...

So I finally took my car in to a tranny indy to check out the P0740 (4-zero NOT 4-one) code and unfortunately the Solenoids were all fine. So at this point that cost was $127 (diag,new filter etc)....
