My understanding is if there are buttons, it came with cruise control, so photos won't be helpful. Perhaps it is just broken.

Manually locking will prevent the under-trunk-lid button from opening the trunk, but does not stop the key fob from opening it.

He needs to be concerned with both electrical and mechanical connections. DSP and non-DSP have different mounting brackets, I believe. But the right bracket should be available at the dealer.
