I'd stick with what you have, which by the way is a dual exhaust just not two mufflers. Having a spare is not to be underestimated.

What type of Z3 do you have? Z3 M's did not come with fog lights (all other Z3's did) therefore no switch and no pre-existing wiring. If you wanted fog lights on an M there was an OEM light/switch...

Just to offer more choices..if it comes down to the 99-2000 3.2 consider a 2001-02 3.0 litre. This will give you a more refined Z3 (trim extras) and almost exact performance attributes.
