I've gone through the Search function but didn't find what I was looking for... and got tired of reading on further. I've gotten several alignments done on my Z4 M Coupe and a Lotus Elise over the...

Thx.

same fluid, two different pads...

ATE 200 were bled w/ each pad swap. Both pads resulted in lengthened pedal travel after a few laps. W/ stock pads, the brake pedal reached a definitely firm point after the initial pedal travel (I...

I didn't drive my advance student's M3...

[QUOTE=The HACK;4370525]Did you drive your student's car?

Just my observation from the passenger seat at NHMS, but I would have noticed if his pads were really bad. Although NHMS can be tough on...

Same technique I used on all my previous pads...

I take it up to ~100mps then brake pretty (not extreme) aggressively down to ~60mps. I repeat this process 5-6 times w/ ~10 second intervals. My first braking before I start this process was...

Interesting...

I went and test drove a 135i last Spring and walked out of the dealer w/ a purchase agreement on a z4 M Coupe. The 135 did not feel like a BMW to me. It reminded me of a pogo stick.

I just put on Turner's Cool Willy pads Sunday night for a 2-day event at Watkins Glen. I installed them on my 2008 Z4 M Coupe and bed them in Sunday night. I came across only one person over the...

I went to a dealer to test drive a 135i last March and

ended up leaving the dealer w/ a purchase/order agreement on a z4 M Coupe... pick it up 6 weeks later. The 1 series felt like "a" car... not "BMW." Certainly not a 2002 or an E30. Z4 M is a RAW...

Z4 Hmmm, did my dealer do the job?

Long story short, I dropped off my car (2008 Z4 MC) at my dealer to have my ABS sys cycled and the brake fluid flushed due to soft pedal I couldn't get rid of from just bleeding. I last used ATE...

Ah, the ABS. Didn't think of that...

Thanks! I'll see if my dealer will cycle the ABS sys for me. I've had bubbles in the ABS pump before on my Audi. My current symptom isn't as severe as what I experienced back then but this could...

Space Gray. Sorry, Interlagos isn't my color.

Thanks though.

I'm going to have to think about my M vs. p-car a little longer. Possibly wait and see the bonus early next year.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean about the clutch/transmission. ...

Please help me decide

I've had my 2008 z4 m coupe since early May this year. I drive a Lotus Elise on the track. M coupe is my street car. I find the sport seat boarder-line unbearable. Suspension is stiff but I can...

are you asking because you need to allocate your $ budget???

you have to have better brake fluid, period. You can get away w/ stock pads IF you are taking it easy on the brakes, and not trying to set track record. The car does push A LOT. Not sure what you...

they sucked my eye balls out. Never faded. Stasis is one of the 2 or 3 official US distributors of Alcon. They now use a monoblock setup (not the TA), which is still good. They have a setup for...

I never got to ask my dealer since I just sat there and waited for 2 hours before driving back to work. My salesperson and my registration were nowhere to be found.:thumbdwn:
