I had read it before I replied. How can you tell if you don't have a non aux radio? I'm not using an iphone, but does that even matter for an AUX input. Aux input is aux input, regardless of device.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question wgosma. Which cable are you talking about? I have a pre 2002 E39, so definitely no AUX capability.

There is a plug and play BMW thermostat for the VANOS 540i at 88C. There might be others, I'm not sure.

IIRC, there is a plug and play BMW thermostat for the pre VANOS at 95C, 90C, and 85C.
