The alternator braket is a PITB, also can be a reoccurring issue. Mine was replaced last year by me, and now it's leaking again...but i would rather add oil than due that job again...

My PSP has been making the same noise as your pump since i changed out the gasket on the blank flange on left side of motor. I did bleed it, no go...next i will try to flush and fill....:mad:

I had these same problems, I ended up replacing my battery and alternator...about two weeks ago, no problems since. I got a brand new OEM 180 amp non-water cooled alternator for 315$ shipped instead...

I just found which I believe to be the infamous alternator bracket o-ring oil leak...and I am not trying to drop 1000-1400 to replace a 20$ part.
