FWIW, the water pump is not a planned obsolescence item, the **** just breaks.

I just received the oil analysis for my '08 335i. The OCI was 1 year and ~11.7k miles, the car has a total of the ~68.2k miles.

The highlights were all the metals were in the range of a 6k OCI...

I have seen several threads PREDICTED grenading N54/N55 if you follow the CBS oil change...
