The dumb question first. Misfire on 5 came up each time after a manual SEL reset, correct? Then that would be a fresh code. Moisture related? Wiring harness and coil connection both look good?

I have in mind an oil that works best in my 528i, but because my car now has 240,000 miles on it, it may not be best for someone else. It was recommended by my indie, made in Germany.
