Nice looking car. $7500 seems to be a pretty good price, but I imagine you can negotiate down by 7-10%. Leverage the labor costs to R&R the control arms.

I would get a reputable independent BMW...

On an E30 chassis, installing a non-airbag wheel on an airbag-equipped car requires a spacer:

PN 32311120260

That spacer was used on the E34 chassis as well.

Yeah, nothing is forever. From a business perspective I can understand why BMW wouldn't continue to offer parts specific to a low production model like the E30 M3.
